Kindermusik action shots

Tapping our toes to say hello to Meghan.

Looks like yellow might be Meg's favorite color too...

Almost sitting up on her own. She starts to lean and then it is all downhill from there.

Another bouncy song.

Pop Up My Baby (Three in a Row) - Meg's favorite song. It gets a smile or three (in a row)!

Shady Grove song. (Meg is the baby furthest to the left.)

Clapping/eating our hands to say goodbye.

(Thanks(!) to Elizabeth for the playgroup and Kindermusik photos.)

Almost rolling over

As promised, here is an action photo of Meg almost rolling over but getting stuck on her arm. She seems more determined to attempt such a feat when she comes home after spending time with her friends (who are all mobile in some respect). She is an observant little thing!

Wednesday play group

Although there was no Kindermusik on Monday because of the holiday, Meg still was able to see her friends this week at her play group. While the other (older) babies rolled around, Meg just observed... However, some day soon she'll be rolling around with them. Earlier that day I caught a picture of her on her side on the verge of rolling over. Will post it once it's uploaded.

I think green is her color

Or at least one of 'em.

Happy St. Valentine's Day Y'all

Baby's first Valentine's Day! She is still too young for those conversation hearts but I am sure if she is anything like her mother she'll have a sweet tooth the size of Texas too. Instead of eating candy she is busy sucking on her bottom lip, a new favorite pastime of hers. (MJ's new pink velvet jumpsuit courtesy of Jenny, it even is personalized with MJ on the front -- too cute!)

Sweetheart tee for our sweetheart (courtesy of Bean).

Que romantico!!

Happy Birthday Daddy... and Uncle Mikey!!

Daddy's favorite orange jell-o salad on fire (a bit of a mess, so it had to remain in the sink for slicing.)

Two of Daddy's favorite things: his daughter and orange jell-o salad.
Make a wish!

"Solid" day

This posting is one for Meg's virtual baby book. She ate "solids" for the first time today. Andy aptly points out that the term solid is relative because rice cereal (AKA rice mush) is not really something one has to chew. Nonetheless, she ate like a champ and has every night since. I am sure she will be thrilled when she enters the world of sweet potato mush and the like. Until then, rice mush it is.

10-toy pile up on the interstate and she couldn't be happier!

First ride in her high chair - she is skeptical at best. But it didn't take long for her to warm up to the view from her new seat.

This is gonna get messy...

... and it does.

Best birthday pressie ever!

Meghan succeeded effortlessly at being my best birthday present ever! We had a nice, uneventful day together and in keeping with the annual-birthday-precipitation-trend -- it snowed!

Meg, the consummate professional

"Yes, I see, very interesting, please step into my office."
