O Tannenbaum.

Our first Christmas tree, believe it or not. Meg had so much fun.

You gotta watch the whole thing... wait for it. It is worth it! Merry Christmas y'all.

My brother's brood

Meghan Jane - up close and personal.

Silly photo. I am promise it was really windy, that is why my hair is huge!

Smile!

American gothic - serious pose.

Lady and the tramp moment

Bona fide breakfast for dinner. (That's bacon instead of spaghetti.)

Jammies

Seriously, who could resist this face?

Pumpkin carving

Touchdown

Every touchdown, or field goal, scored by our beloved Bears warrants a march around the couch singing "Our Sturdy Golden Bear." Lovey is in on it too.

Preschool

Me, Meg, and Ms. Joan. This was taken on the last day of Mommy & Me Preschool. She LOVED it. I can't wait to find another program for her in Texas.

"Goldfish, goldfish, what do you see..."

Gobble, gobble. Like millions before her, Meg loves glue, probably more than the coloring, which she adores.

New skillz

Leggie Meggie can now climb on the cars all by herself.

Daddy and Meg play date.

Ladders - make me nervous, but I am so proud of my little monkey!

Aquarium

Jellies!

Meggie and Bean.

Meggie and 'Do.

Big ole turtle.

Back pack model revisited

Halloween, Texas-style

Mama and Meg on the way to go trick-or-treating. The main setback of the evening was Meghan seeing an adult-sized Mr. Potato Head (costume made creepier by the fact that the owner didn't speak but stalked around silently), which petrified her and made her look over her shoulder for the rest of the night.

Me and the girls.

Brandy and her Halloween jammied girls. Molly's shirt reads: I'm so cute it's scary.

'Nough said.

Leopard and Dorothy.

Sam and her spidey-boys.

Ross and Meg ((2nd?)cousins).

Molly applying her own face paint, no mirror necessary (I wish I had an "after" photo). This child is hilarious (she was a bunny, perhaps the Easter bunny).

Super-Boppa and Nannie at the backyard Halloween bash.

Miss Dorothy and Lovey (in lieu of Toto).

Cal vs. UCLA game

I know this was awhile ago and I am not trying to rub salt in any Bruins wounds but here are some proud Bears at the Rose Bowl.

MJ is two

Our little girl turned two. We spent the special day at the Discovery Science Center and then had a belated birthday celebration when Bean and 'Do came home from their trip to NYC.
Yippee!!

I have no excuse but I will make it up to you with pictures!

Cutie.

The architects - they used every block in the bag for this masterpiece.

Brown versus blue.

Happy birthday Bean! (Notice the polka dot theme, Meg picked out both their tops.)

Owl!

Bubbles again.

Finger painting.

... at the car wash...

I guess the ground was a bit dirty too.

Mama and Meg on the Huntington Beach pier.

Petting zoo at the Portuguese Bend Horse Show.

Meg and Daddy watching the horse show.

Getting braver at the petting zoo.

Passed out after a beach day with "Miss Whitteny."

Meg on the slide with her cone friend.

'Do, Meggie, & Bean - bubbletime!

"Hike" down to the old Marineland spot.
