Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island, pt. 1

On our last full day in NYC I decided that there would be no better way to spend it than with our beloved Lady Liberty. Meg and I journeyed to New Jersey (via multiple means of transportation) to Liberty State Park and ferried over to Ellis and Liberty Islands. The whole adventure took about 7 hours. I was exhausted when we got home - not as tired as those immigrants that traveled before me though.

My little red, white, and blue tourist - coincidence? I think not!

Same, no.2.

The "Golden Door" (the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, where all boats must pass through to get into NY Harbor).
