I went to my first Dodger game this season (Meg's first too). She really liked it when we sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." That was our queue to exit so we ended on a high.
Family shot.

Nice sunset from Dodger Stadium.

Like mother, like daughter. Cotton candy - get in my mouth!

Sarah & Dan's San Francisco nuptials
Sarah (Andy's cousin) and Dan traveled all the way back from Cameroon for their wedding festivities in San Francisco. The happy couple will honeymoon in Morocco, naturally. They had wedding guests from all six inhabited continents... just happy to be one of them!
Meggie!
Bubble time after the beautiful ceremony in Golden Gate Park.
Cousins: Alex, Geoff, Wayde, Kristie, Diana, Andy, Tyler, Rob, and Mikey (not pictured: Sarah (the bride), John (brother-of-the-bride), and Eric (Canadian export)).
Shades.
Up close w/ shades.
Great grands (only two were not present).
View from playground near Uncle Mikey's.
All aboard Meg's party train.
View from Pacific Heights looking at Russian and Nob Hills (?).
More of the same...

Rehearsal dinner... the Morse women appear to be entranced.

Summer concert in the park
Malibu
Meg and I went on a hike in Malibu a few weeks back. We were the ONLY ones on the trails so we sang and clapped the whole hike just in case there were mountain lions(!). Silly, I know but it was a small price to pay for safety's sake.
Chaparral.
Post-hike picnic lunch. I used a kid-carrying-backpack and it was very comfy!

6500+ miles one-way!
Enjoy a little photographic insight into "Travels with the Morses: an adventure in many states."
Background: Andy left Boston all by his lonesome in a moving truck packed to the proverbial gills. He drove through days and nights, slept in Wal-Mart parking lots, drank obscene amounts of caffeinated beverages, and listened to hours of audio books and NPR, before arriving in our future home, the Big D, in the Great State of Texas (1700 miles later). With the help of an honest-to-goodness friend, he unloaded all of our worldly possessions into a storage unit and then flew to meet me in where else (?!) than Baltimore, Maryland. Meanwhile, Meghan and I had loaded up the remains of our Boston life into our car, moved out of our apartment, and headed south on I-95 to meet Andy in, where else but, Baltimore, Maryland. That was the beginning of our great American road trip. From MD we ventured south through DC, VA, NC, SC, then west through GA, AL, MS, LA, TX, then north through NM, CO, WY, then west again through MT (only a 7-mile sliver, I know that doesn't really count), ID, OR, then south to Southern CA. Phew. I am exhausted just from listing the states. I hope you enjoy the photo montage; it may help to imagine Roy Rogers singing "Happy Trails" or Willie Nelson twanging his classic, "On the Road Again."

Graduation!
I can't believe it has been more than two years since we started this blog. A lot has happened. We moved across country and back, had a baby, met a ton of cool people, traveled, and, lest I forget, Andy completed an advanced degree. Life has been good to us. Here's to an equally rich future.
And now for some photos. Andy's Harvard Business School graduation(s), festivities, family, and fun...
The graduate! Enough with the silly hats already.
HBS guys... Spencer was right, a new license plate is in order.
Our family. Cool that we could measure our time in Boston by how long Meg has been alive. A lot can happen in two years.
The hat was a bribe for Meg to walk across the stage with her daddy...
... not sure it worked.
Daddy and his baby girl.
Let's celebrate!
Proud Dado and son.
Chelsea and her graduate.
Morse clan at a long, delicious and lingering meal! Blaire is the photographer so she isn't in the pic :(
All of us in JFK Park after another generous meal at Henrietta's Table (my favorite!).
