July catch up, pre-baby
We were on baby watch in July. The Fourth of July weekend came and went but it was fun and packed with activities: parades, bounce house, swimming pools, fireworks show (so we hear), BBQs, etc.
Sparklers. Good times.
Meg taking the opportunity to sit on some other little girl's bike. We never did find out whose it was.
Nothing says summer like ice cream before 10:00 a.m.
A quickly melting fudge pop.
Bounce house!
Preggo candid shot. Yikes!
Meg's new obsession: knock-knock jokes. Most of the time she just says "knock, knock" and then the punchline. Sorry, kiddo, I hope you didn't get your joke-telling (in)ability from your mother.
Side-view. Not sure Meg can even see my face from that angle.
Front-view. Beach ball for scale. Double yikes.

June catch up
June was an uneventful month. We couldn't really go anywhere because of my advanced case of pregnancy. However, Meg did start a "preschool" program at first one day a week then we upped it to two days. She really loved it. I cried the first day (after I dropped her off at her classroom). She is just such a little person, and so very independent in a lot of ways. Don't get me wrong, she is still a little girl but she is definitely not a toddler any more. Perhaps pre-pre-pre K would be a better (and more ridiculous) term.
Meg's first day of Mother's Day Out. She was so excited to finally go. I had been talking it up for months.
Flamingos, Meg, Baby Morse #2, and Mama at the Dallas Aquarium. A very cool place; both literally, and figuratively.
Meg and the flamingos. She liked them because, you guessed it, they are pink.
A close up of the leggy birds.
Daddy and the jaguar. There is a pane of glass separating them, albeit a very clean pane.
Daddy, Meg, and the jaguar, who was not interested in smiling.

I'm baaaa-aacck....
After the blue screen of death, a new baby, and a new laptop I am back in action. I cannot promise I will post as much or as often as I would like to but I will do my best. Here are pictures from the merry, merry month of May.
Driving the engine at the children's museum.
Fire fighter.
Vroom. Kinda funny that when we go to the children's museum Meg loves the play house where she cleans, cooks, and takes care of the babies. Domestic diva. Or she plays with the dollhouse within the playhouse, micro(home)economist perhaps.
Dollhouse.
Making blueberry pancakes. Chef and Sous Chef - not sure which is which.
Fort Worth Zoo. Daddy and Meg feeding the birds. Needless to say, they bathed in Purell afterward. :)
