Enjoy a little photographic insight into "Travels with the Morses: an adventure in many states."
Background: Andy left Boston all by his lonesome in a moving truck packed to the proverbial gills. He drove through days and nights, slept in Wal-Mart parking lots, drank obscene amounts of caffeinated beverages, and listened to hours of audio books and NPR, before arriving in our future home, the Big D, in the Great State of Texas (1700 miles later). With the help of an honest-to-goodness friend, he unloaded all of our worldly possessions into a storage unit and then flew to meet me in where else (?!) than Baltimore, Maryland. Meanwhile, Meghan and I had loaded up the remains of our Boston life into our car, moved out of our apartment, and headed south on I-95 to meet Andy in, where else but, Baltimore, Maryland. That was the beginning of our great American road trip. From MD we ventured south through DC, VA, NC, SC, then west through GA, AL, MS, LA, TX, then north through NM, CO, WY, then west again through MT (only a 7-mile sliver, I know that doesn't really count), ID, OR, then south to Southern CA. Phew. I am exhausted just from listing the states. I hope you enjoy the photo montage; it may help to imagine Roy Rogers singing "Happy Trails" or Willie Nelson twanging his classic, "On the Road Again."
